Gibson receives orders for its products from various customers
using EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), which is the process of
receiving orders through a standardized electronic format. These
orders are loaded into Oracle ERP Cloud. The client found this
flow cumbersome, error prone as it was hard to track and re-process
orders during time of failures. Gibson was made aware of the
potential of having API based integrations which are seamless and
near real-time and can potentially tap into automation and
reprocessing as well. This led the client to engage with OSI Digital
to implement this change as an initial pilot.
