Malware analysis and digital forensics is no longer confined to post incident cyber insurance claims or legal investigations. Businesses are now demanding faster cyber attack analysis and containment to help guard against further damage, embarrassment and costly recovery efforts. Digital forensics, with its highly sophisticated analysis tools, are quickly becoming part of the detect, analysis and containment phases of the IR process. Often threats that are once thought eradicated re-emerge with even more damage than before. Incorporating Digital Forensics Incident Response (DFIR) into the IR process helps companies react more efficiently to complex cyber attacks.

In this webinar, OSI Digital security experts will explore the growing demand for faster cyber attack analysis and containment, and how to leverage retainer agreements to enhance cybersecurity preparedness. By prioritizing speed, containment, and collaboration, you’ll learn how to mitigate the impact of cyber incidents, protect sensitive data, and safeguard your entire operations.

What You'll Learn:

  • Malware Impacts: Types of malware and its effect on business servers and client endpoints

  • Forensic Investigation Methodology: Forensic Investigation based on the indicators of compromise

  • Changing Landscape of Cybersecurity: How incorporating rapid Digital Forensics early in the IR process helps prevent further damage due to cyber attacks

  • Importance of Malware Analysis: Providing insights into attackers' techniques, tactics, and motives

  • Rapid Analysis & Containment Strategies: Minimize damage, reduce operational downtime and financial implications

  • The Value of Containment: Isolating affected systems to prevent the spread of malware infection to protect sensitive data

  • Why Employee Training & Awareness Matters: How to educate employees about cybersecurity risks, indicators of compromise & incident reporting procedures

  • Planning & Preparation: Why prior planning and preparation is the key to the success of a DFIR response

  • Key Compliance & Regulatory Considerations: How rapid Digital Forensics and IR help businesses meet compliance requirements to demonstrate due diligence
